At Noddy’s Kindergarten we teach through play this is why the children here really enjoy learning.

The Activities include free play and role play, organized play where they play with jig-sews, bricks and playdough. They do colouring and painting. Painting of pasta where they thread the pasta with a string after painting them which helps them use their hand and eye co-ordination. Sponge printing with paint, pencil control and eventually writing of letters and numbers. Singing and Story telling. Miming where at the end of the school year we put up a show for the parents where they can see their children’s talents.

We offer educational outings where we take the kids out on average once a term.

It is important to stimulate the child’s brain and not allow the child to get bored or frustrated. At this age children will never learn so much again in their lives. Their brains are like sponges and hungry for knowledge so it is important to make that knowledge available and for the child to soak up the knowledge at their own pace and time without pressure. Children develop at different times so it is imperative to give them that time for when they are ready to take in the knowledge available.
